When we don't have that, we shape-shift and turn into chameleons; we hustle for the worthiness we already possess. Brene Brown Eventually we become exhausted from trying to be what everyone wants us to be. Something different is required of us in each one of the spaces that we inhabit. Some of us dumb down or hide our emotions to make sure every one else is happy and comfortable. After a while we can even lose sight of ourselves. Yet, all the Lord wants us to be is to be ourselves. Charles Spurgeon wrote, “Humility is to make a right estimate of one’s self. It is not humility for a man to think less of himself than he ought. It is not humility for a man to stand up and depreciate himself (become someone he is not to appease others). It is not humility to underrate yourself. Humility is to think of yourself, if you can, as God thinks of you.” Stand up and be You! GiGi❤️
