"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8) Grace is defined as the unmerited gift of divine favor given to us by God. His unmerited favor influences us daily, sanctifying and regenerating us, precept upon precept. We cannot get to the throne of God by good works. Salvation is one of the few areas in life that has a level playing field. It is free for all, freely come, all are invited! There is no privilege here. We cannot purchase it, nor can we obtain salvation through wit or intellect. Furthermore, one “Cannot obtain salvation by grace through our feelings…feelings are fickle.” You might feel saved today and tomorrow think, “I don’t know if God accepts me because I don’t feel saved.” This is a faith walk. It is not an emotion. “If my Lord Jesus gives you salvation at this moment, you have it, and you have it forever. He will never take it back again; and if he does not take it from you, who can? If he saves you now through faith, you are saved-so saved that you will never perish, neither can any pluck you out of his hand.” Charles Spurgeon GiGi❤️
