"I will love them freely."—Hosea 14:4
As we go about our day, let us remember to show mercy and extend the love of God. Let us do so, not because we have to, but because we choose to. Let us do so freely because we are free in Christ. “That sun shines into the house of the adulterer, into the face of the murderer, and the cell of the thief. No matter how sinful man may be, yet the light of day descends upon him unasked for and unsought. Such is the grace of God; where it comes it comes not because it was sought, or deserved, but simply from the goodness of the heart of God, which, like the sun, blessed as it wills. No matter how vile, and black, and foul, and godless, men may be, he will have mercy on whom he will have mercy, and that free, rich, overflowing goodness of his can make the very worst and least deserving the objects of his best and choicest love. Christ died, but Christ died because the Father loved… "I will love them freely," spontaneously, without any motive, but entirely because I choose to do it.” Charles Spurgeon We cannot withhold our love because we are hurt or disappointed. Our love is not limited to only when things are going our way. We love in season and out of season because we are representatives of Christ. Dear Lord, please get our attention and remind us that we have been given this power as believers. We have the power to show grace and love freely and at all times. GiGi❤️
