Learn to Expect Opposition

Have you ever felt overwhelmed, or felt as though there is always something going on? You get over one hurdle only to look ahead at another, then another... If so, it’s normal life’s opposition because your path is following the Lord, and in it- we can expect opposition. Learn to expect it when you're on the right path, don’t be caught off guard. See, the devil hates it when we are on the right path and will stage opposition at nearly every turn. 

“In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:12-13 NIV

““I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”” John 16:33 NIV

Jesus took the first steps for us in the most significant way carrying his cross. His opposition was nearly unspeakable, because he was on the right path. We just celebrated His sacrifice over Resurrection weekend. Be assured we have the tools to hurdle life’s challenges, God has equipped us with access to countless spiritual lessons through independent reading, along with assembling in church, bonding through support systems in different forms, moments of encouragement, all of it represents His presence. We are never alone! Each source is a comfort and His reminder to us, He is here for us... He has prepared us for difficult seasons... He will never put more on us than we can handle. He will continue to provide the light to our paths. No matter the opposition, don’t quit, don’t be discouraged, you are not alone. Keep going and stand strong in your faith! He is with us! 

We all have our crosses to carry in this life and He sees where you are with yours today, He is supporting every step. He has already made you an overcomer! No weapon formed... NO WEAPON formed shall prosper! We’ve got this!!!
