![]() I recently learned there is a such thing called prayers of frustration. It’s simply a cry out to our Father and it’s OK to do. Sounds familiar, right? Have you been praying for something a really long time without seeing the manifestation of a resolve? Have you gone through a season so long you wondered if you should just accept it as is and just figure out the best way to cope and accept it? A great example of what that may look like is the current pandemic. Many have been praying across the world without ceasing, daily, and may feel frustration as to why covid cases have NOT gone away, but they are increasing. Many are asking God- when will He save us & wondering if our prayers are being heard. Similarly we see this in various scripture references where there’s a cry out to God, a prayer of frustration. An example is in Psalms. “How long will you forget me, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you refuse to accept me? How long must I wonder if you have forgotten me? How long must I feel this sadness in my heart? How long will my enemy win against me?” Psalms 13:1-2 When we have a relationship with God, part of that allows us to talk with Him, share our concerns, be transparent about our weary spirit, humbly share our honest frustration. While He already knows & sees all, He still wants to hear from us. He needs to hear from us. He is moved by our tears and our faith. Clear the weight of burdens from your shoulders today and place your frustrations or concerns at the Lord’s feet. He has not forgotten us & never will. He will complete our testimonies in His perfect timing. “So now these people are before the throne of God. They worship God day and night in his temple. And the one who sits on the throne will protect them. They will never be hungry again. They will never be thirsty again. The sun will not hurt them. No heat will burn them.” Revelation 7:15-16 Nikkie🌹 Have a good day!

Yes, I totally agree. We feel so much better when we invite God into the mix. There are times I can be so caught up in the moment I forget to pray. Yet, once I do, I am reminded that he is my source of strength. “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
