“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus..” (Philippians 4:6-7)
If worry and a problem had a contest to determine which is the bigger, worry would most likely be the victor. Each challenge has proven that we worry far more than the problem is worth. Worriers do this well. We know how to make a mountain out of a molehill. Smith Wigglesmorth tells the story of his wife’s great faith displayed when they had nothing in the house to eat. After they prayed she got up and set the table. When he asked what she was doing she let him know that she was getting ready for the food that the Lord was going to provide. The family waited, his wife with great expectation, then eventually there was a knock at the door. Those who brought the food felt compelled to do so not even knowing of the great need. Whatever the challenge we face, we must decide whether to worry or set the table. GiGi❤️
