“And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.” (Luke 17:6)
Faith is faith even when it is sprinkled with a little doubt. It is faith that will grow as it’s exercised. Let us not be discouraged when doubt presents itself but be reminded that all we need is a little faith. Faith as small as a mustard seed is still faith. The faith of Abraham and the faith of a little child who has newly believed in Jesus are the same faith. A diamond is a diamond whatever its size may be, and so little faith and great faith are of the same essence. Whether it be a grain of mustard-seed or a mountain-moving faith, it is still faith of the operation of God, faith in the same object, and faith working to the same end.
