![]() “For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5: 17) We all have heard about amazing grace: "Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I'm found was blind but now I see." Here's a point, however, we may not have ever really considered: "What makes this grace so amazing is that it is so gracious and so abundant." Thankfully, what God has given us through the death of Jesus Christ is not the reward for our unrighteousness. It is nothing less than the gift of His matchless and abundant grace. His grace is so abundant that: 1. It is extended to everyone. The Bible abounds with "whosoever's." Greatest among these is: "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10: 13) 2. It is enough for everyone. The grace of God need not be rationed. There is plenty to go around. The sins and trespasses of human kind are great and many, but so is the grace of God. While we should not frustrate the grace of God, we should be confident that though we may fall short, His grace never will. 3. It is free to everyone. The best part about this abundant grace is that it comes to us for free. It has, indeed, been paid for but not by us. It was paid for with and by the blood which Jesus shed on Calvary. This way, neither scarcity of money nor lack of material means becomes an obstacle to receiving God's grace. 4. It has the power to save everyone. The abundance of God's grace is not only to be found in its quantity, but also in its potency. It is so powerful that is can cover and convert anyone. Like the detergent which claims to clean any stain, the grace of God is able to save any sinner, restore any runaway and reconcile anyone who is rebellious. Praise the Lord for the abundance of God's grace towards you. Pastor Benjamin Morris 🙏🏽
